Project Description
The State Library of Queensland commissioned me to create this interactive fiction work for their Summer Holiday Fun program. It was one of those super fun projects where I got to work with my good friend, artist and illustrator Andi Spark. The platform for the project is Google Forms.
We had a rather fluid work flow. I wrote an initial story draft, then threw it at Andi who started drawing from whatever inspiration she found in the draft. Together, we refined the narrative structure to work out where the illustrations and puzzles would fit in. The limited interactivity of Google Forms was a fun challenge in designing puzzles. I spent a lot of time looking at old fashion parlour games to draw inspiration for the puzzles.
